“What is psychoanalytic psychotherapy?”

I am an “insight-oriented therapist,” which means I excel at helping my clients work through unresolved inner conflicts and that arise from past dysfunctional relationships. Through our work together, my clients report a decrease in symptoms like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, working with me, you may develop deeper self-awareness and better understand your motives and long-term desires. I offer help in taking better care of yourself and living a healthier, more full-filling life both personally and professionally.

Often in this work, we find out that your past may be holding you back in ways you never realized.  We can talk about any subject-from relationships and sex, to work and friendships, to race and culture, to goals and dreams-all in the service of helping you find self-acceptance so that you can live your most fulfilling life.
